MY BIO

This started as a blog and has turned primarily into samples of my work. I am a retired soldier, businessman and teacher that has traveled extensively throughout Europe, South America, Asia and Australia. I have a degree in US History from the University of Nebraska and a M Ed. from the College of William and Mary. I have a wide range of experience from being the Chief Operating Officer of a construction, land development and real estate company to being a consultant for a successful motion picture. I have written on a wide variety of subjects from business to education and have produced a myriad of web content articles, papers, press releases, brochures, resumes and letters. My wife and I have settled in Williamsburg, Virginia to enjoy the mild climate, garden and move about the world as we see fit. I write primarily to pass the time in the colder months and to earn a few dollars in a way that is fun and challenging. This site has a few samples of my work and musings - many topics have been provided to others under the auspices of an NDA and can not be posted here. I am not seeking any long term writing work and enjoy the short assignment where I can use some creativity or share knowledge that I have acquired in a variety of business, legal, academic and social pursuits. If I bid on writing work for you it is because it has piqued my curiosity and I believe I can help you in your endeavors. In any case I wish all those visiting here - good health and prosperity.
